Dr. Samarth S. Shetty, MBBS, MD (Psychiatry), is a Consultant Psychiatrist at Manipal Hospital, Bengaluru, and an esteemed alumnus of NIMHANS. He has received multiple national-level accolades and has presented his work at leading psychiatric conferences across India. His research has been published in reputed peer-reviewed journals.

Dr. Shetty holds an strong academic and clinical background. He has a special interest in mood disorders, including major depressive disorder and bipolar disorder, and has contributed to psychiatric research with published work on complex cases such as dopamine dysregulation syndrome and ultradian cycling in bipolar disorder. His expertise extends to neuropsychiatry, obsessive-compulsive and related disorders (OCRDs), addiction psychiatry, psychodynamic psychotherapy, and non-invasive brain stimulation techniques.

A former Joint Secretary of the Karnataka Association of Resident Doctors, Dr. Shetty continues to actively contribute to clinical practice, academic leadership, and advancing psychiatric research.
